  • Impaired driving
  • Vomiting
  • Memory loss/blacking out
  • Risk of injury
  • Hangover
  • Quickened Heartbeat
  • Loss of motor control
  • Confusion/lack of concentration
  • Quick mood changes to violence or depression
  • Risk of sexual assault
  • Alcohol poisoning, which could lead to death
  • Impaired judgment which could lead to many problems such as risky behavior, sex, fighting, and sexual assault.
  • Liver disease
  • Heart disease
  • Cancer-especially esophageal, oral, throat, voice box, breast cancer
  • Pancreatitis
  • Birth defects (if drinking while pregnant)
  • High blood pressure
  • Can have negative effects on relationships and job/school performance

Effects of Drugs

The following is a chart of the effects of some of the drugs that are common at raves.

The effects of drugs can be unpredictable.
Many of the effects are influenced by the individual taking the drug and the environment.
