CA Resources

Health Education schedules many events throughout the academic year. We also have programs available for CAs to schedule for their floor or building. CAs have access to our Resource Area as well as Condom bags.

Resource Area

The Resource Area is located in South D (Rome Commons) by the complex office and the mailboxes. There are many posters and pamphlets available for CAs and student groups to use. There are also sample bulletin boards on display.

Our Resource Area has valuable information for students who are doing health related projects. Students are welcome to take up to 10 pamphlets and our web resource list. We are also available to answer questions and to assist in directing the students to the appropriate resources.

Condom Bags

Health Education supplies condom bags for CAs and student groups. The bags contain condoms and educational material. The condom bags are available in the Health Education office located in South D by the complex office and the mailboxes.

Abstinence Kits and Goodie Bags

If a student chooses abstinence, we want that person to feel supported. Health Education offers Abstinence Kits to students who ask for them in addition to providing candy at all of our events. The Abstinence Kit may include any but not all of the following: candy, shampoo, conditioner, lip balm, hand sanitizer, hand cream or sun block. We want everyone to feel welcome and realize that each person needs to make their own choice -- we respect that!

If a student chooses to be sexually active, we support that choice as well. Students can come by our office to receive a Goodie Bag which contains an assortment of condoms, dental dams and lubrication. We also make custom Goodie Bags for students who want a specific kind of condom that we carry.
